MCA-I Madison has two great opportunities for students.

#1 - MCA-I Madison has two scholarships they are offering to students. You must have at least one semester of school left. The scholarships are $1,000. The deadline is May 15, 2008. Applications are available on our web site, www.mcai-madison.org. Apply today!

#2 - Get recognized for the great work you can produce…students, enter the WAVE Awards Show. Even if you are graduating this spring, you are still eligible to enter as a student. Get your name out in front of the people who can make a difference in your future. While we extend the deadline until early September for students, don’t delay (or you might forget all about it). All rules and entry forms are available on our web site, www.mcai-madison.org.

Students: here’s your chance for hands-on experience in the fields of public relations, advertising, marketing and more. Ad2 Madison and the Madison Advertising Federation are hosting their fifth annual job shadow day for students of diverse backgrounds the week of March 3rd. We will pair you with a business that matches your career interest. We have advertising agencies, public relations firms, television stations, publication companies, international language firms and corporate marketing opportunities lined up.

Madison-area businesses will host minority students the entire week of March 3-7, either from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and/or 1:30-4:30 p.m. YOU pick a day and time period that works with YOUR schedule, and we will match you accordingly.

To sign up for this free event, please respond via e-mail by Firday, February 22 to diversity@ad2madison.org with the following info:

1. Name, school, year
2. What field(s) of communications (PR, advertising, marketing, sales, TV, radio, etc.) are you interested in?
3. What day(s) of the week you’re available March 3-7 and what time(s) (8:30-11:30 a.m.or 1:30-4:30 p.m.).

Each student will be responsible for their own transportation. Please don’t hesitate to
