My previous employers at C2 Graphics Productivity Solutions and Adobe are hosting a launch event at the Truax campus next week! From 1:00 until 5:00, new features from Creative Suite 4 will be showcased, live, and questions shall be answered. Don’t miss it! Everyone is invited, and all should attend.

Want to see what Adobe has up their sleeve for CS4? Well, tomorrow they’ll be having a live webcast concerning their new Creative Suite! You can register to view the event at http://adobe.istreamplanet.com/.

Also, that afternoon MCA-I will be having their first event of the season. We’ll be learning about WisconsinEye, a high-tech video surveillance system that they use to record meetings and other government type events remotely. A handful of us will be meeting in front of the MATC Downtown campus before walking to the event. MCA-I Madison has two great opportunities for students.

#1 - MCA-I Madison has two scholarships they are offering to students. You must have at least one semester of school left. The scholarships are $1,000. The deadline is May 15, 2008. Applications are available on our web site, www.mcai-madison.org. Apply today!

#2 - Get recognized for the great work you can produce…students, enter the WAVE Awards Show. Even if you are graduating this spring, you are still eligible to enter as a student. Get your name out in front of the people who can make a difference in your future. While we extend the deadline until early September for students, don’t delay (or you might forget all about it).
